Why join a field naturalists club?

Enjoy nature in good company, learn from others and take part in a community that values our natural world.

Come along and see what you discover.

Most clubs offer a mix of outdoor activities and indoor talks. You can start with a local outing, meet fellow nature lovers and take things at your own pace.

What happens at a club?

Activities vary, but often include monthly meetings, field trips, talks and outings. Some have special groups for birds, botany, fungi or other natural history interests. Many welcome prospective members to try an activity before joining.

You don't need to be an expert, and you don't have to know the names of everything you see. Field naturalists value learning together.
